Data Science Manager - Negotiable Salary - Plus Benefits - London- J11123 The post holder has a key role leading the successful delivery of the company's marketing & pricing strategy across a large customer service business. You will take an active and leading role in the data science team delivering strategies using advanced machine learning techniques, keeping the team at the cutting edge of the industry. Role & Responsibilities ·Be a key contributor to the on-going development and implementation of the data science strategy. ·Lead a team of data scientists to achieve the business' objectives. ·Evolve and continuously improve the company's pricing and marketing models. ·Use advanced analytic and machine learning techniques. ·Deliver comprehensive pricing analyses and modelling projects. ·Monitor performance, profitability and competitor behaviour. ·Be an advocate for data science across internal and external stakeholders. ·Find business value from data. ·Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required. Experience & Skills Required ·Possess a high level of numerical accuracy ·Be able to analyse, communicate and explain pricing and marketing optimisation across the business. ·Be a thought leader for data science. ·Experience of specialist pricing software such as Earnix essential. ·Experience with DataRobot advantageous. ·Be proficient in a range of programming and statistical tools, including R ,Python and SQL ·Have the ability to build machine learning models. ·Great communication skills, able to explain complex pricing and data science theories to non-technical colleagues clearly and with authority. ·Actively implement statistical tests and analyses.
