Your new company Our client leading challenger Bank located in Central London is on the search for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join their growing HR team on a permanent basis starting ASAP. Your new role The Senior HR Business Partner will be responsible for providing HR support across the business including identifying HR departmental needs, implementation of HR goals/objectives, general day-to-day HR support across the HR function in relation to training & development, recruitment, employee relations, the HR Strategy and project-based work. The HR Business Partner will also support the company's performance and salary review process as well as other compensation and benefits matters. What you'll need to succeed Relevant HR Degree, including CIPD level 7 qualification Current or recent experience working as a HR Business Partner within Retail Banking - is a must Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Retail Banking sector Previous experience of managing a small team & mentoring staff - is a must Experience in working with/supporting Senior Leaders/ ExCo members, with the ability to step up in absence of the CPO. Strong generalist background covering employee relations, compensation & benefits, MI analytics, recruitment, L&D, talent, succession planning Expertise in coaching managers on performance management issues and processes Learning & Development expertise including - Managing talent and succession planning Supporting line managers across the business on organisational structure and design Knowledge and of FCA regulatory requirements including the Senior Manager Certification Regime Strategic thinker with the ability to assist the CPO with managing HR budgets etc. Strong working knowledge of employment law issues and the ability to apply these to a variety of situations using a pragmatic and common-sense approach Can quickly establish credibility and respect and build strong working relationships Able to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions ability to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented.
