Come and join the Vetro team Location: Caerphilly Job type: Flexible agency work Hours: 8am - 8pm / 8pm - 8am sleep-ins / 8am - 11pm with a sleep-in Pay: ?10.09 per hour including holiday pay Are you looking for the chance to support adults with mental health needs? Do you want the opportunity to work across different projects? Have you got previous experience in the care sector? We are currently working closely with a small cluster of supported housing projects in the Caerphilly area. The projects are a way to prepare those with mental health needs to move into their own home and can sometimes be a step-down for those who have been discharged from mental health hospitals or secure units. Projects vary from 24-hour support schemes to low support schemes or step-down projects and will have different numbers of tenants, usually around four adults, both male and female. The needs of tenants will vary at each project, so you should be comfortable if tenants present with challenging behaviours. This is similar to a bank Support Worker job and is a great way to add some variety to your working week while gaining experience in a variety of different settings We support a whole range of clients across Cardiff and the Vale, Newport, Torfaen, RCT and Blaenau Gwent. What can you bring to this Project Worker job? As a Project Worker, you will be caring, empathetic and enthusiastic. You will be comfortable working with challenging behaviours and supporting vulnerable adults to engage in different activities in the community. Due to the requirements while on shift, you should hold a full UK driving licence. What will you do as a Project Worker?
