Virtual Interviews, onboarding and remote working are all enabled due to COVID-19 Once restrictions are reduced this role will be 3 days / week in Aberdeen Data Governance Consultant 12 Month Contract Aberdeen Based with some Remote working options Rate Circa £525/day (Inside IR35) Start Date: ASAP (Interviews W/C 24th March) Virtual Interviews, onboarding and remote working are all enabled due to COVID-19 Once restrictions are reduced this role will be 3 days / week in Aberdeen Governance Data Protection Data Dictionaries GDPR Data Quality The Data Governance Consultant will: · Implement and oversee the data governance strategy · Establish best practice for data ownership, taxonomy and ontology · To create a glossary of technical and business data definitions · Oversee the data lineage of critical data artefacts · Identify suitable data quality measures · Define data quality metrics, and monitor data quality issues · Establish best practice for all areas of data governance and quality · Manage a wide range of stakeholders Do you have: · Experience covering a wide range of data governance principles? · Experience implementing a data governance strategy? · Experience managing complex data domains? · Hands on data governance experience including at least 1 of the below: Business glossaries and data dictionaries. Data quality analysis & reporting. Metadata & reference data management. Data lineage & traceability. Data security & access control. Data lifecycle management.
