Providing technical support and guidance to a UK Public Sector account across a variety of different user access devices and operating systems. Remotely supporting in office users across multiple sites throughout the UK as well as home or remote workers in the field. Main Responsibilities: Technical Assurance of Applications and significant Projects. Preparation, installation and configuration for testing. Creation of test strategies Working with the Customer (DVSA) and 3rd Parties to resolve issues in failing projects Engagement with 4th Line architects to find/ identify route causes to failing projects Pro-active approach towards problem/incident resolutions in Pilot and Live. Confidence in working with internal teams and cross capability teams alongside Account and Customer engagement. Requirement to fulfill Ad Hoc tasks i.e. bespoke Software deliverables to User devices as part of Proof of Concept activities. Impacting of forthcoming technical Assurance work. Analysis on delivery approach for all releases to reduce / mitigate risk. Essential Skills: Office 365 Microsoft Windows: 7 and 10 iOS: Airwatch, Intune, JamF MacOS: JamF Software Delivery tools: SCCM / Intune Powershell Desirable Skills: Citrix - XenApp and XenDesktop, Microsoft Windows Server – Server 2008 R2 through Server 2019 Operations – VMWare, HyperV, Anti-Virus - McAfee EPO, Windows Defender Print Services – PrintLogic, PaperCut Bash Active Directory / DNS / DHCP / ADFS /GPO’s General Networking understanding Knowledge of Exchange 2016 Preferably certified in Windows 10 and Office 365 This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89929054
