Overview
Staff Nurse Full Time £19ph What is the role? This service provides nursing care for 44 residents including a safe environment for 11 people living with dementia. Provides a care home where older people can be helped to live as independently as possible and where the emphasis is on quality and enjoyment of life. We are looking for Registered Nurses (Days) to work 36 hours per week on a roster basis including alternate weekends in Exeter In all services we value kindness, care, choice and community. We are looking for candidates who: Have a valid NMC PIN Have previous experience of working with the elderly / dementia Are conversant with the NMC Code Are competent computer users Are good communicators, written and verbally Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Acting as the Named Nurse for a group of residents Update and contribute to care plans Organise and supervise the work of the Care Team Assist in the induction and orientation of new members of the Care Team Acting as a mentor and undertake teaching of carers and students What can we offer? In return, we are offer a generous hourly rate of £20.00 and 5.6 weeks holiday including bank holidays increasing to 6 weeks with 5 years' service. In addition, we provide training and continuing personal development, a free uniform, free DBS check and free staff meals when on duty.
