CLOSING DATE: 30th June 2020 Are you a registered nurse looking for on-going opportunities to develop your clinical skills, role and knowledge? We have recently reviewed our career pathways and are introducing clear competency and development opportunities across all of our Medical and Surgical specialities. We will guide you along a career pathway that could lead to a Band 6 role, and onwards to become a ward sister, Matron, a non-medical prescriber, research nurse or even Senior Nurse. For the academically interested, we will encourage you to apply for a degree or Masters level qualification with the support from our dedicated clinical practice facilitators and wider multi-disciplinary teams. We are able to offer a range of experiences within acute medical and surgical specialities. Once you have gained experience in one acute area you can apply to move across the Trust to other specialities within the organisation via the 'Transfer Window'. We will do all we can to ensure you get the experience and training that is right for you. The Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is a Teaching Hospital based in the historic cathedral city of Exeter in the heart of the South West of England. Exeter is one of the most attractive and historically interesting cities in England. The city centre boasts excellent shopping and dining experiences. There are a wealth of sporting and cultural resources on the doorstep, along with access to the many beaches of Devon and Cornwall and the open moorland of Exmoor and Dartmoor.
