Overview
Carer/ Support worked is required to join an existing team of carers to maintain the independence of a 42 year old spinal injured man living in Stanley. As part of a rota basic for 16 hours per week, in addition to covering for holiday and sickness when the need arises. Duties include all aspects of personal care including; showering & dressing, bladder & bowel management, moving & handling as well as household cleaning. Experience of personal care is preferred but not essential as all training will be given. Full clean driving licence essential. The ideal candidate must be reliable, approachable with a proven low sickness rate. In return they will enjoy a relaxed working environment.
