IT Support Contractor One month rolling contract Initially for 2-4 months Exeter Hourly Rate £13.00 to £18.00 per hour depending on experience Our client is one of the fastest growing IT Service providers in the South West and they are looking for an IT Support Contractor to join them initially for 4 months with a view to the role going permanent if both parties are interested. The main function of the IT Contractor will be to help the migration team with the following work: · Build new servers, install applications and configure user profiles · Communicating to customers and troubleshoot any issues after the migration is complete The ideal IT Support Contractor will need to demonstrate expertise providing 2nd line support / project work in a Windows environment, and have experience of: · Windows Server and Basic Networking (including DNS, Active Directory, Exchange, Hyper-V) · Windows Terminal Server (RDS) to the level of setup and troubleshooting (including redirected Printing) · MS Office & SQL back-end business applications The Hourly Rate for the IT Support Contractor £13.00 to £18.00 depending on skills and experience If the IT Support Contractor is interested there could be the chance of a permanent position after the 2-4 month contract The Hours for the IT Support Contractor 8.30am to 5.30pm as standard with some weekend work when required Location: Working from home to start, then working in modern offices on the outskirts of Exeter Quartz Recruitment is a specialist agency operating in the South West of England.
