Engineering Manager, Up to £80,000, Sheffield Engineering Manager sought for a fast-growth technology business based in the heart of Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity for a n Engineering Manager to join a thriving business who are working with an ext remely modern technology stack such as Go, GCP, Kubernetes, Ruby, BigQuery , CloudSQL , Vue, AngularJS & D3 . The Engineering Manager will ideally be hands-on who can manage and provide technical mentorship to a team of talented engineers. This role is paying up to £80,000 a great pension scheme, healthcare, flexible working , open holiday policy, company equity and many other benefits As a strong leader, you will be directing and managing engineering teams in an agile environment as well as work closely with product management to ensure alignment and on time delivery It would be awesome if the Engineering Manager had: 4 years’ Software Engineering experience with progressively increasing responsibilities Managed or been a lead previously Proven experience in a fast-paced, high volume product development environment Demonstrable experience in motivating and innovating teams Good communication and interpersonal skills Good understanding of agile and modern engineering practices This is a fairly hands-on role still so experience with any of the following tech stack would be amazing: React, Go, Angular etc. If you are looking for a new challenge in one of the market’s most successful organisations , please apply within Venturi is a staffing business dedicated to you, differentiating ourselves in the marketplace by quality of service and candidate delivery.
