Overview
R.A. Homecare are currently recruiting for Part Time, Nights and Bank Care Assistants to join our small and friendly team based in Ashford. We cover Hersham, Walton, Shepperton, Sunbury, Ashford, Staines and the surrounding Surrey areas. We are looking to recruit dedicated, compassionate and caring individuals to provide care to clients within their own homes, in a way that respects each individual and promotes their independence. Responsibilities Your role would include: Assistance with washing and dressing Shopping and meal preparation Assisting with medications Providing support with daily routines Escorting to and from appointments Providing support with social activities and accessing the Community Liaising with healthcare professionals, family and friends Completing accurate daily records The following are required Compassionate and caring nature Dedicated to providing an excellent standard of care Self-motivated and well organised Reliable Flexible Good communication skills Hold a current full driving licence Have access to own car and have business insurance Minimum of one years experience within the healthcare industry preferred Benefits Competitive pay rates starting from £10.00 - £15.00 per hour Flexible shifts Care Certificate Training Ongoing training and carer development opportunities Supervisory support in the community Mileage paid at 0.25 pence per mile Team social events Employee of the month award Bonuses for recognised hard work and loyalty to the service to be considered and discussed on a annual basis Workplace pension scheme Annual leave entitlement This role is subject to a DBS check and at least two satisfactory references.
