Lead Oncology Physiotherapist Consult Search & Selection are proud to be partnered with a leading, innovative private healthcare provider who are currently seeking a Lead Physiotherapist to be based in their state-of-the-art facilities in Central South West London. The position will be working in purpose built, modern facilities with a business that is passionate about going the extra mile in patient care. Physiotherapy treatment is offered to cancer patients in a pre, during and post treatment capacity on a one-on-one basis. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the management of and co-ordination of the provision of the Physiotherapy treatment for all patients referred. Responsible for ensuring all referred patients undergo a comprehensive initial assessment (including risk assessment) and setting a personalised prescribed course of exercise medicine. Management and supervision of the Personal Trainer who you will work with closely and delegate tasks accordingly Responsible for ensuring all patients are provided with information about the exercise medicine programme both in written format and verbally as part of the onboarding process. Work in collaboration with other staff within the business Actively contribute to engagement events to promote awareness and understanding of the service. Ensure patients receive the highest level of service in line with policies and procedures. Responsible for collating and presenting data about the service, using data to recommend improvements and service development. Experience & Skills Required/Desired Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience or equivalent clinical experience, predominately working with patients in Oncology. Experience of teaching and supervising less experienced staff. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and use own initiative Evidence of active involvement in service development & contribution to change within the workplace Evidence of advanced clinical reasoning and the management of complex cases Demonstrate effective communication skills to a range of audiences e.g. patients, carers and other professionals Ability to prioritise own workload and that of others and effective time management Experience of working effectively and efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary team. Ability to demonstrate a commitment to best practice and awareness of relevant national standards/guidelines. Knowledge of quality assurance and audit programmes in line with requirements for Clinical Governance Evidence of Continuing Professional Development Qualifications & Knowledge BSc Degree in Physiotherapy or Diploma/equivalent HCPC registration Evidence of continued professional development, preferably in Oncology/Rehabilitation This position is urgent, so please do not delay in making an application to avoid disappointment.
