Overview

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an Entertainment company based in Shoreditch on a temporary basis. This role is for 3- 6 months initially and will be paying up to £14.00 per hour PAYE holiday pay. Duties include: Circa 200 invoices per week which are complex and you will be dealing with supplier queries - there is a backlog so you will be working through this. This AP process is manual so they someone that can use their initiative and be quite reactive. For instance there can be lots of chasing to get approval 2-3 levels in some instances. Payment runs - again a very manual process. Staff expenses. Reconciliations You will be dealing with all different types of people to get queries resolved, the types of people you will be dealing with are the creative team and suppliers. Whilst this is a manual role they are working on automating their processes but they want to make sure they get the backlog down first, get processes in place and have the right team around them.
