This role is based in Trafford Park, Manchester easily accessible from all motorway networks. The role: The title is IT Technician, but a title rarely conveys what a role is really all about…. We are looking for someone who gets a buzz from solving complex technical problems. The successful candidate will have a broad IT knowledge; we are not looking for “just” a Windows admin, or “just” a database person, we are looking for the all-in-one package That said, candidates should have experience supporting Windows servers and workstations in a virtualized environment. But IT is bigger than that, its phone systems, its networks, its databases, its customer service, its problem solving The role is based in our Manchester office, which is the EMEA HQ, and has primary focus on our UK users and IT estate. But we are a global business and we work as a global team, so there is plenty of interaction and working with global colleagues. So we are looking for a specialist across the broad range of IT Experience and qualifications: Candidates will be able to demonstrate a mix of skills from this list: Windows server and workstation administration – ideally backed up with Microsoft qualifications. VMware administration. Linux administration desirable.
