Overview
Come and join a well-recognised food manufacturer as part of their engineering team within their packing department as an engineering supervisor. You’ll take a hands-on role in your designated area, taking responsibility for the smooth running of your shift. You’ll plan for materials ordering and keep a close eye on the packing equipment reporting any maintenance information to the Shift Manager. You’ll ensure daily and weekly targets are met and will champion a culture of good personal hygiene within the department. Location: Pontefract, West Yorkshire Salary banding: £28K - £35K Shifts: Week 1 - 06:00 - 14:00, Week 2 13:55 - 21:55 You must have previous maintenance / engineering experience as it'll be down to you to ensure equipment is working as it should be during your shift. This is a fast-paced environment, so experience in a supervisory capacity from a similar industry is a must There will be occasions when overtime and weekend working is required, so flexibility is needed. Any IOSH or HACCP qualifications would be highly advantageous
