Overview
Audit Administrator Type: Permanent Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 Based in Canary Wharf Our client is an independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisors based in Canary Wharf. With in-depth expertise in many fields of tax, accountancy and finance, they work for clients ranging from large, listed corporates and SMEs to individuals, their families and their businesses. You will be working within the companies Non-For-Profit department. Job Duties: Maintaining spreadsheets and databases and interim reporting Proof-reading, quality review and formatting reports prior to submission to the manager Preparing letters of engagement and letters of representation Sampling of transactions for audit (inputting figures into our sample size calculator, determining sample sizes and selecting the relevant samples from the Excel transaction lists) Setting up files and uploading basic documentation onto the firm's audit software Flight and hotel bookings Visa assistance Billing management and work in progress updates New client procedures Obtaining, reviewing and filing all the documentation required to assist the audit team in their assignments Assist the tender and proposal writer with any administrative tasks General assistance with tenders if and when required Other ad hoc tasks Personal Attributes: Excellent organisation skills and a confident manner 1-2 years of prior administrative experience Prior professional services sector experience Methodical with an eye for detail and strong follow through Professional attitude, appearance and demeanour Ability to stay calm under pressure and with a "can-do" attitude Ability to set priorities independently Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to exercise tact, good judgement and diplomacy Good time management skills Flexible in approach to work and willing to learn new skills Completes tasks on time Takes responsibility Questions existing ways of doing things Uses initiative Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
