HR Business Partner - Central London The Company I am looking for the ideal candidate to fill this HR Performance Management opportunity. This role is working for a well know insurance company based in central London. This is a full-time permanent role. Location - Central London Salary - £70k-£90k The Role You will join the HR function, reporting to the Head of HR based in the US. This position requires someone who considered themselves HR Generalist. The main responsibilities can be seen below. What we are looking for Partners with business on aligning HR initiatives with business goals and objectives. Addresses talent gaps or talent issues impacting business goals through effective talent acquisition, talent development and performance management strategies. Coaches managers and employees regarding performance. Acts as an employee champion or change agent on culture or other initiatives. Acts as a coach for managers on leadership and management skills. Provides guidance and coaching to employees seeking assistance in dealing with general issues in the workplace. Keep abreast of employment law and best practices within Europe and specific to each location (UK, Switzerland, and Singapore). Administers corporate and local policies and practices and ensures consistent, legally sound practices are upheld through management of issues. Active involvement in day to day employment activities - salary actions, promotions, transfers, terminations, accommodations, status changes, etc. Coordinates with local payroll providers for administering remuneration (salary, bonuses and stock). Responsible for the administration of benefits, including annual renewal and open enrolment process. Coordinates with the benefits provider to ensure accuracy when changes are made. Responsible for recruiting of local talent including coordination of third party agencies, direct sourcing, reviewing resumes, interviewing, negotiating offers and onboarding of new hires. Provides management/employee training on various topics as needed and partners with the Talent Development function to implement corporate initiatives. The ideal candidate will have fantastic person and communication skills, they will need to be confident and be able to use their own initiative. It would also be great if you had the following experience. Insurance background. Able to manage own workload manage HR alone. Able and flexible to travel to worldwide offices. Confident and outgoing personality, no shying away 8 years a HR experience.
