Project Manager Location North West London - NW10 About us SINTEC UK Ltd is a London based mechanical and electrical contractor that provides a range of professional installation services for industrial and commercial projects, specialising in automation technologies for material handling and storage systems (conveyor, sortation, palletising and storage). We have carried out projects for companies such as Marks and Spencer, Renault, BMW, McLaren, Bentley Motors, Amazon and Nestle. The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced construction Project Manager within Sintec UK. The role will be approximately 70% office based and 30% travel to sites. As there will be some travel across sites you should hold a full UK Driving Licence. Key Responsibilities Taking ownership of small to large sized projects. Liaising with Site Managers and site teams, keeping track of progress monitoring documents. Assist in estimating additional or extra works within running projects. Interviewing technical candidates for sites. Disciplinary actions, handling complaints and training within Site (with HR guidance). Planning and approval of holidays for site-based workers. Assist with the annual salary review of site-based workers. Budget and resourcing. Control of projects' progress. Accurate and timely submission of progress for invoicing purposes. Assisting estimation and preparation of commercial offers. Reviewing commercial offers. Supervision of procurement and site management activities. Supervision of the delivery of order and Control of Cable, Containment and small mounting materials. Tender meetings. Regular planned on-site meetings. Proposal of subcontractors and suppliers. Allocating and planning teams for different projects. Controlling use of access equipment and storage containers on sites. Any other duties commiserate to the role. Qualifications/Skills Minimum of 3 years proven experience in project management (preferably within the construction industry). Experience of material handling systems, electrical installation would be an advantage. Strong technical background in Electrical Engineering and Installation. Qualification in project management or equivalent. BS 7671 18th Edition. Microsoft office, AutoCAD. People Management experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Person Specification Able to deliver project on time. Commercial awareness. Strong financial acumen with ability to deliver project within budget. Strong work ethic.
