Overview

IT Support Engineer My leading global asset management client are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their London office. This hire will be provide front-line support and be responsible for desktop coverage primarily for the firm's UK and Asia offices, with a user base of approximately 55 employees, ranging from junior to executive level. Responsibilities The responsibilities of this individual will include, but not be limited to, the following: IT Support - provides exceptional IT customer service and resolution, directly for the London office and remotely for Asia and US offices. Capable of preliminary diagnoses, troubleshooting and resolution in areas such as email, network connectivity, remote access (VPN), mobile devices, and Windows desktop. Ensures all service disruptions are resolved within service levels. Ensures root-cause analysis is conducted to resolve underlying issues. Build Management - Able to configure and test all desktop and laptops systems as assigned. Build and configure mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, etc.) Video Conference Support - responsible for supporting and monitoring video conference meetings. Work closely with PEP AV specialist and become a key contact for all VC needs in London office. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of desktop support experience. Experience from an alternative investment, financial services, legal or consulting environment preferred. Excellent time management and prioritization skills, especially when working under stressful conditions. Able to multi-task and finish tasks in a timely manner. Strong solution-oriented thinker who's proactive in their work. Technical Requirements- Expert level: Microsoft OS, Apple OSX, and Office software (Windows 7, Office 2013, OSX ) Mobile device configuration and troubleshooting (iPhone, iPad) Peripheral equipment support (printer, keyboards, mice) E-mail & Network Connectivity troubleshooting (VPN, Outlook) Common Knowledge, Concepts & Understanding: Windows Server Networking (WAN, LAN, and Remote Access technology) Desktop Security (Firewall, host-based IPS/IDS, encryption) Video Conferencing technology The hours are 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.
