Overview
The R&D Department of a renowned name in the Automotive Electronics industry seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join their Algorithm Development team. You'll have a track record of delivering high quality code in C++ and a technical background in Computer Vision, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Robotics or Signal Processing. As part of a Multinational team the successful Senior Software Engineer will help to deliver state-of-the-art software integral to improving driver safety. Key Requirements include: • Good Degree in STEM Subject with MSc or PhD preferred. • Experience developing embedded software for commercial applications. • Advanced C++ and/or C programming under Windows and Linux. • Agile development practices. • Fluency in English language. In this Senior Software Engineer role you will have responsibility for Embedded software design and development in C++; supporting optimisation of algorithms on embedded platforms, including the use of hardware accelerators and SoC specific multi-core methods as well as performing software tests through unit tests, A great salary package will be offered including a base of up to £55K with benefits to include a bonus scheme, Private healthcare, flexible working and relocation assistance.
