Pre Sales Engineer ( IT Security Vendor) £70,000 Basic £20,000 bonus full benefts package Location: Basingstoke/ Thames Valley This respected vendor is only interested in seeing the best of the best for this highly desirable position This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly technical security engineer with a pre-sales bias to join a respected vendor who have grown from inception through growth and acquisition to become global player . A knowledge of GDPR based skills will be advantageous as will a background in IT security in a pre-sales capacity. This interesting and diverse role will utilise your previous experience, as it covers a wide and varied brief including web demonstrations to corporate customers as well as resellers and partners all over the UK and the world. In addition, you will be an ambassador for the company attending trade shows such as InfoSec and IP Expo to demonstrate this unique product, answering any technical questions that will ultimately lead to a more in-depth demo of this leading software In this role, you will serve as the primary technical resource for in region sales and channel managers, responsible for actively driving the technology evaluation stage of the sales process as a technical advisor and advocate for our client’s products to key customers, supporting the regional Sales Account Executive Lead the team in the design, planning, and implementation of a customer focused third party risk solution by providing consultative support for partners and customers You will have Approximately 3-5 years of Information Security experience as a presales engineer or 3 years of experience working for global software vendors, building, supporting, and/or selling security solutions; A strong understanding of industry-recognised enterprise risk/audit/compliance frameworks, standards and methodologies (e.g. ISO31000, ISO27001, NIST, GDPR,NYDFS etc.) Strong dedication to customer care combined with an ability to understand and analyse customers technical needs Our client offers The chance to work with seasoned industry veterans and for a visionary board of senior Executives The financial rewards due for your expertise and ability to influence their target markets and customers The opportunity to develop your career further as this company builds on its already highly successful reputation This vendor is a leader in third-party risk management security software .
