Overview

Solutions Architect £60,000- £75K Permanent Manchester This is an unbelievably exciting opportunity to join part of an emerging architecture team within a forward thinking company that is in a serious state of growth and transformation. Reporting into the Chief Architect, you will be responsible for the design of major end to end solutions as well as leading the development of designs for complex systems and ensuring consistency with specific business requirements agreed with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for the balance between functional, service quality and systems management within specified areas of the business. Within the role you will also engage on, contribute and collaborate with the following activities; Governance, Alignment, communications and knowledge retention. To exceed within this role, most importantly you will have working cloud experience and ideally certification to go alongside. You will also be experienced in leading large complex cross domain designs, have expert technical skills and experience, a broad understanding of information systems and ideally working knowledge of API Development. Ideally you will have a degree in IT or relevant discipline and experience in Business Capability modelling and Agile working methodologies. I am looking for Solution Architects who can combine 'ivory towers' architecture best practice with a strong grasp of technology & who has come through the ranks in the Software Development/ Software Engineering arena. Solution Architects with good software design experience, fluent programming skills (ideally C# .Net SQL Server etc.) AGILE and who are genine full life-cycle practitioners will be ideal for this position. You should be comfortable with TOGAF & have a structured & logical approach to architecture. This isnt a huge enterprise client so Architects need to be pragmatic and hands-on.
