About the Company: Based in Moorgate, we are an Established Market leading Thermal Insulation contractor, who have built an outstanding industry reputation on delivering first class packages within various sectors of industry including, High End Residential, Commercial, Leisure and Educational. Our Passive Fire Protection Division is our newest venture, which has just been certified and endorsed by the BRE Group with all relevant accreditations. The opportunity to grow this division and put your mark on it is huge. The successful candidate will need to be an experienced and confident individual who has a track record in managing passive fire protection contracts from securing & winning work right the way through to managing final certifications. Our company has been delivering thermal insulation packages to some of London cities largest projects over past 4 years and we now find ourselves in a position to dovetail our current offering with our newly accredited Fire Stopping division. Our clients have been waiting for us to offer this service as we provide the thermal insulation to the services which need to be fire stopped. This untapped potential is vast. The Thermal business is 4 years old and currently turns over 4m per annum, with an order book taking us into 6m in 2021. The firestopping division is currently turning 350k per annum with an extremely healthy order book which will then double this figure over next few months. About the Role: Due to recent project wins and accreditation we are now in the market for a proven Passive Fire Protection Contracts Manager to work alongside the Director to grow and develop this side of the Business. The role will include Business Development, Estimating and full Project Management. Candidate must have complete sector experience from either a Fire stopping background and comprehensive knowledge in all aspects of fire stopping procedures and products. The successful candidate has a blank canvas to put his mark on the department and work alongside our current operations director who has built the department over the past 18 months. This opportunity will suit a confident individual who wants to bring self-sufficient & motivated attitude into a newly formed department with unparalleled potential. Role expectations Working alongside the Director (owner) in Moorgate office. Business development, introductions and client proposals. Client Meetings/Project Meetings. Estimating, working to schedule of rates etc. Project and Cost management on each project. Allocating work to sub-contractors and managing them. Manage all paperwork requirements and final certifications. Technical knowledge of all fire stopping products and their installation. Remuneration: The right candidate will have the Directors (owner) full support who understands the importance of employment stability alongside providing a platform for the candidate to grow and be rewarded for his efforts.
