Site Supervisor - Waste Depot Location: Gloucester Rate: £16 per hour About the company: The client is a family run company who have been operating since 1982. They are now one of the largest construction and waste companies in the South West. Due to their growth they are now looking to bring in a Site Supervisor to join the team in Gloucester. Job Purpose: The Waste Management Division are now looking for a site supervisor to strengthen the team within their busy recycling plant in Moreton Valence Transfer Station near Gloucester. Responsibilities and Duties The candidate would be required to manage a team which will include site set up, keeping site records, ordering and receiving plant and materials and adhering to and enforcing health and safety rules. To carry out some administrative duties using site computer to input plant defects and communicate with contractors/suppliers via phone and e-mail. Maintain and continually review all processes and systems currently in place and to assist with any proposals for improvements required. Working primarily in the Gloucester Depot, though at times you may be required to work further afield within other depots within the division so a full driving license would be required Qualifications and Skills Plant equipment and supervisory training certificates whether in construction or waste management would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided to the right candidate. This position is a varied role so would suit a keen enthusiastic individual with a can do attitude but must also be prepared to work as part of a team if the site programme requires it.
