Overview

I'm on the lookout for Quantity Surveyor's from Intermediate - Senior level to join my clients team, based local to Cambridge. The contractor is a multi-disciplinary organisation that works on various schemes within the Civils and Utilities sectors. Position: Quantity Surveyor Location: Cambridge Contract type: Freelance (2 year contract with likely extensions) Start date: ASAP Day rate: £300-£400 per day (DOE) Randstad CPE Contact: Katherine Murrell (Maidstone branch - ) You will be responsible for: Procuring subcontractors, agreeing prices and letting the packages Negotiating costs with various parties Drawing up contracts Monthly reporting Compensation events Responsible for work package change control and management Responsible for project re-measure Preparing and agreeing final accounts Requirements: Degree / HND in Quantity Surveying Excellent IT and maths skills are essential Attention to detail Excellent report writing and negotiation skills are essential Experience in utilities projects would be an advantage Benefits : Negotiable day rate (DOE) If you think this role could be of interest to you at the moment, please click "apply now" and submit your CV for immediate consideration.
