Overview
Payroll & Benefits Advisor - Milton Keynes Join Lantmannen Unibake UK as a Payroll & Benefits Advisor and be part of a dynamic HR & Payroll team. Main Purpose of Role You will have full responsibility of the monthly and weekly payrolls. You will provide an efficient and accurate payroll service to approx. 200 monthly paid employees and approx. 500 weekly paid employees. Key Accountabilities ·To produce monthly payroll in its entirety. ·Be a subject matter expert in Sage and our T & A system, Horizon. ·Management of the Teamseer solution ·Accurately apply any statutory notices ·Manage and document the pension process and keeping up to date on any new requirements Responsible for the administration of all deductions made from payroll ·Support and develop the company’s benefits including: Pensions, life assurance, private medical, cash plan, cycle to work scheme, company cars, fuel cards and car allowances, critical illness cover and EAP providers, reviewing the services delivered ·Work with the Payroll & Benefits Manager on development of the Payroll and benefits strategy using both analytical skills and understanding of the current operations and future challenges Skills · Manual calculations of SMP, SSP, payroll and tax ·Confident and can work alone and within a team ·Strong Excel Skills ·Confident in writing new procedures and LWI Knowledge ·Sound, up to date knowledge of payroll/pension statutory requirements and legislation. ·A good understanding of benefits in kind ·Up to date on GDPR and Gender Pay Gap reporting ·A good understanding of relevant legislation relating to Payroll and Pensions Key facts and figures ·750 employees in 3 UK locations - Milton Keynes, Bedford and Bagshot ·Net Sales c.£150M ·Milton Keynes: Two factories with five production lines producing French, specialty and fast food breads ·Bedford: Opened in 2011 and has two production lines producing Danish pastries Andwe produce over 1 Billion pieces of bakery product a year At Lantmännen Unibake UK, we know it is key that we get the right candidates to join our team and if you have the right attitude and show the necessary skills for this role then please apply now
