JBCconnect has partnered with a Global Luxury Retail brand to hire an experienced HR Business Partner to join their already established People Function. The role is newly created and will support circa 60 employees across Product, Marketing, Ecommerce and Retail. The successful candidate will be a proven HR Generalist, with relevant experience working across Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development and ideally Talent Development. The role will support the HR Director through an exciting period of anticipated global growth, as the business enters new markets and seeks to align the People and Talent function. There will be numerous opportunities to take ownership of HR projects and to offer mentorship to a HR Intern. If you are a collaborative, people centric, problem solver with a passion for HR and to work in a fast paced Retail Environment apply now Role Responsibilities: Partner with Product client group, maintaining a deep understanding of their remits and OKRs, supporting on decision making and delivering sensible advice and support to enable teams to flourish and work cohesively. Advise and support line managers on how to better lead, develop and help employees deliver their best work, whilst ensuring a great employee experience. Own the employee life cycle and key People practices and processes within your departments such as probation, workforce planning, compensation, progression mapping, engagement survey, action planning and exit interviews. Manage and own ER cases within your client group, providing structure and guidance throughout every tricky situation, balancing the needs of the individual and the business. Take ownership and lead on ad hoc People Related Projects Make suggestions on how to better improve and streamline HR processes Talent Mapping for Product business area- taking ownership of attracting exceptional talent and working with department heads to ensure candidate experience is always prioritised Person Specification: Relevant HR experience gained working in a Retail/ Luxury Fashion or other Creative Businesses ( 3-5years minimum) Experience owning and managing complex Employee Relations Cases Solutions focused and a natural problem solver- able to build relationships with challenging stakeholders in a fast paced environment Process driven with an understanding of HR metrics and their importance Highly organised with a keen eye for detail A proven track record operating as a business partner working closely with senior leaders
