Overview

We are seeking an Accounts Senior or Semi-Senior to join our fast paced and lively team within our innovative and forward thinking Firm. This role is to support the Accounts & Audit Manager in the provision of accountancy services to a wide range of Owner Managed Businesses from start-ups to multinationals and would suit an Accounts Senior, Semi-Senior or Management Accountant looking for a challenging and varied role with progression. The key skills, knowledge and experience required to successfully execute this role comprise: ·Ideally ACCA/ACA qualified or studying towards - at least AAT qualified ·Minimum of 3 years of experience in practice ·Accounts experience - specifically preparation of year end accounts, management accounts, forecasts and bookkeeping ·Audit experience desirable but not essential ·IT proficient - experience of cloud accounting and desktop accounts software (we use xero/ Quick books/Sage but training can be provided) together with the Microsoft Office suite including Excel ·Experience of training junior colleagues ·Sound self-management skills with the ability to prioritise own workload ·Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines ·Experience of working on-site with clients ·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills around colleague and client interactions, with a proactive and positive outlook ·Methodical and thorough approach with close attention to detail ·A "can do" attitude coupled with the desire to deliver a first class client service Applications are welcomed from both candidates studying towards formal qualifications and those qualified to AAT level not wishing to study further. Study support can be provided if desired.
