Overview

Fire Protection & Sprinkler Contracts Manager (Permanent) Location: High Wycombe office & Site based Salary: DOE My client is looking for a Contracts Manger to work alongside the Senior Contracts Manager in providing the 'Best in Class’ project delivery for each contract of work - from the initial preparation of new tender documentation, to the issuing of the final Completion Certificate. To maintain good client relationships with existing client accounts, as well as proactively seeking new business to develop and grow the profitability of the company. Experience with the servicing and Maintenance of sprinklers and fire protection is essential Duties will include Assisting with the estimating, surveying, reporting and correspondence for all projects, as well as independently leading smaller project works . Alongside the Senior Contracts Manager ensure that all Installation Site Engineers have continuity of work on the job site and that all engineers are installing the amount of work expected on a day-to-day basis to meet the given programme. Interpret Contract Drawings & Specifications. Liaising with our Design Engineer on the construction of Client Drawings for new contracts/projects/works. Allocation of Site Engineers/Sub Contractors to job sites, and the completion of Engineers Weekly Log Sheets. Briefing of project/works with relevant internal Site Engineers/Subcontractors/Site Supervisor/Design Engineer. Actively seek new business. Following up on incoming enquiries as well as proactively seeking new opportunities. Prepare client tender documentation for new works within the given deadlines. Attend necessary Client/Site/Project Meetings. Ordering of materials and hire equipment for specific works. Using our approved suppliers, ensuring profitability is maintained within the scope of the project/works. Develop new business and maintain good client relationships within existing accounts. For the life cycle of a project, ensure that our H&S and Quality Management Systems, procedures and policies are being adhered to. Creating and completing relevant project and site-specific Health & Safety documentation including Risk Assessments and Method Statements. Working with the internal business support functions including: o Accounts Dept. - purchase orders, invoicing, payments, retention monies H&S - to be involved in annual audits, contribute to Company Certifications i.e. Safe Contractor Quality Management - to be involved in annual audits, bi-yearly Management Meetings LPCB - to understand and interpret rules laid out in the LPCB 1048 Scheme and ensure at all times that we are compliant with that standards and polices. Adhere to the company’s H&S Policy as laid out in the H&S Policy Manual and Employee Handbook. My Client can offer: A company vehicle Competitive salary (Pending on experience)
