Overview
PR and Communications Engagement Manager My client is looking for an experienced internal communications manager to join the team that has a proven track record of working in a growing company. Job Description • To deliver clear, engaging and high-quality communications to meet the needs of our diverse internal audience during a time of considerable change. • Manage multiple internal and external communications channels - including the intranet, regular e-newsletters and weekly blogs and emails and source, write and edit content. • Advising senior leaders, producing and delivering communications plans and evaluating impact. • To design and lead key set-piece engagement events and campaigns, project managing from start to finish, planning strategic content and advising senior leaders. • To implement a strategy to raise the company profile at external events and target nominations for industry awards throughout the business • To be responsible for all intranet content, monitoring and evaluating to drive improvements based on user experience. • To work with our regional colleagues to develop and implement effective relationships and communication channels, building engagement and collaboration across these key areas of our work. • To champion internal communications throughout the organisation - raising the profile of our company internally and externally raising our profile The Successful Applicant • Experience of change communications • The post-holder will have experience of success in maximising results in a high-profile communications environment both as part of a team and working with other departments and senior stakeholders. They will be able to demonstrate effective inter-personal skills and highly developed written and verbal communications skills. • Experience of intranet content management. • Experience of researching and writing clear, concise and plain English copy for a range of audiences, both internal & external • Experience of planning and delivering communications projects that deliver measurable results. • Experience of delivering effective internal communications initiatives in a large and/or complex organisations going through change. • High level of comfort with social software and other web-based technologies Ideally CIM Qualified. Financial Services experience.
