Overview

Orka Financial is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant based in Hook, the role would suit an established Accounts Assistant with a career in finance and is keen to take on a more varied position. Responsibilities · To create and print sales invoices from the sales order processing module. · To code and post purchase invoices, ensuring they are attributed to the correct department. · Reconciling supplier statements and liaising with suppliers in case of queries. · Preparing purchase payments and cash book entries · Reconciling of bank statements to cash book. · On-going maintenance of the supplier database. · To check accuracy of expense claims prior to submission to the Financial Accountant for approval, followed by analysis for VAT and posting to Purchase Ledger. Requirements · Educated to A level standard preferred. · Preferred 1-3 year's experience. · Microsoft office proficiency. · Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
