Overview
An IT Support Engineer is required by our Manufacturing client in Harrogate. A salary of up to £27k is available dependent upon experience. The IT Support Engineer will take responsibility for the improvements and upgrade of company systems and support for an exciting and rewarding company. The role also involves the support and management of the IT Support Technician, so this role could be a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress in regards to dipping their toes into management. The IT Support Engineer will take on typical duties maintaining, designing and implementing information systems as well as managing the Helpdesk Ticket System. You will take on the installation and configuration of hardware for both new and existing users as well as creation and delivery of training modules for the business. You will ideally have a good deal of experience of the following; Excel, ODBC Connections (Microsoft Query), CRM, MS Office and desktop/server operating systems, Database support and SQL queries, ODBC Connections. This is an ideal role for an IT Support Engineer looking to take their next career step. You will be a quick learner and used to working in small teams as well as understand how to take responsibility for systems upgrade and improvements.
