Overview
IT Support Engineer Our client based in Welwyn Garden City are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their team on an initial 2 month contract. This role is to help cover the team during a peak period and would require the IT Support Engineer to have in depth technical knowledge of the following: Active Directory Exchange AV (Symantec) GPOs SQL/App server maintenance Infrastructure support administrator of multiple operating systems Networking (LANs, site-site VPNs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP) troubleshooting and diagnostics Firewall and web filtering monitoring Commissioning/installation of desktops/printers/ servers/peripherals/Wifu Configuration and maintenance of backup software (Redstone) Configuration/management of virtualisation specifically Hyper-V IT Support Engineer Due to the volume of applications received for positions, it will not be possible to respond to all applications and only applicants who are considered suitable for interview will be contacted.
