Overview
Junior Bookkeeper My client is looking for a Junior Bookkeeper to support one of their team of six Accountants working on a range of clients with a predominant focus on Music clients. In addition to musicians and bands, the team works on behalf of record labels, artist management companies, publishers and even some charities. Duties include: Cash book analysis. Raise sales invoices relating to various live performances, recording advances & recharges. Credit control. Input of bank, purchase & sales invoices onto Twinfield. Raise payments transfers. Expense analysis. Liaise with Music Agencies and Management. Prepare bank & credit card account applications. Prepare VAT returns. Royalty statement analysis. Assisting with Tour accounting for UK & Worldwide tours. To be considered for the role you should be: Studying towards AAT or ACCA Must have 1-2 years of Bookkeeping experience in a UK accountancy practice firm Experience of an accounting system such as Xero, Sage, Quickbooks or ideally, Twinfield Previous experience with media clients would be preferable Hours are flexible with a core 10am - 4.30pm around a 37½ hour week.
