The Senior SAP Basis Consultant will work in Absoft’s busy Technical Team and undertake a range of project and support related activities across our varied client base. If you are looking to join a team that is involved in the full range of consulting projects including new implementations, upgrades and supporting customer systems whilst continually learning then this is the ideal role for you. Key Skills Required SAP S/4HANA administration. SAP system upgrades SAP landscape sizing. Extensive experience with SQL Server, Oracle, HANA databases. Expert with Windows and Unix based operating systems. Planning or executing of SAP heterogeneous and homogeneous landscape migration activities. Pre-sales support (proposal scoping, creation and presentation) Disaster Recovery scoping, design and testing. SSO implementations Clear and concise documentation creation. Ability to train and assist more junior consultants Operating system scripting Desirable Skills Design and deployment of SAP systems in Azure Experience with HA of above databases. Brownfield S/4HANA conversion experience. ABAP debugging Experience with other virtualisation environments SAP PI/PO interface modelling SAP Business Objects Administration SAP BW administration experience OpenText exposure Relationships Reports to: Operations Manager Person Specification The Senior SAP Basis Consultant will possess the following professional attributes: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification Excellent English language skills In addition the Senior SAP Basis Consultant will be able to demonstrate the following behavioural skills: Excellent Communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels Excellent interpersonal and consulting skills Flexibility Adaptability Demonstrates initiative and pro-activity A strong appetite for learning Strong organisational skills Ability to interpret requirements and design effective solutions Flexibility to deliver complex integrated solutions to tight time-frames Commercial awareness with a focus on delivery Absoft is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
