Overview

Pharmacy Manager (non-Pharmacist), Leicester LE4, Independent Pharmacy, £30,000-35,000 dependant on experience Situated in a highly-populated residential area on the North-side of Leicester, this substantial, modern community pharmacy is growing quickly and is now looking for a non-pharmacist manager to come in and work with the pharmacist to grow the business even further. This is a role that carries a wide range of responsibility for process, compliance and staff management and would suit either an experienced manager, or someone with a dispensing background, who is keen to develop their supervisory skills. THE OPPORTUNITY Critical to success in this role will be your ability to effectively supervise the dispensing and counter staff, organising, directing and verifying workflows and ensuring compliance with procedures, rules and regulations. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the team is well trained and their skills are continually developed. The group has recently secured significant investment and will be growing substantially over the next year or so, meaning that all kinds of other managerial roles might open up as time goes by. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Applicants should have worked in a pharmacy, probably in a dispensing capacity. Some supervisory management experience would be beneficial but isn't absolutely essential. The most critical skills are good communication and great listening skills, a meticulous approach to accuracy, a methodical approach to work, great IT skills, a willingness to take on a high level of responsibility and a concern for the welfare of the general public.
