Overview

If you're looking for a System Administrator role where you'll be a key player planning projects, designing systems, mentoring more junior Engineers and implementing best practice, look no further Based in great modern offices in Nottingham City Centre you'll be supporting 300 users working for a consultancy firm who have made big strides within their sector. You'll be the senior System Administrator working closely with the IT Manager and influential as your new company embark upon a programme of change around their business systems and IT services. On the technical side your VMware experience will come to the fore and we're also looking to tap into your Azure knowledge, particularly around security, though full training will be given here. You'll also be able to use your SQL Server admin skills. The key with the above technologies is being able to plan and design deployments, and have the ability to engage stakeholders to implement your ideas. You'll get involved with budgeting and roadmapping. As you'll be working in a small team of 4 you'll be big on information sharing; your new colleagues are a tight-knit bunch and have a thirst for learning You'll be happy pitching in when needs be with 1st - 3rd line troubleshooting.
