Sole Finance Manager (3 days a week) | fast-growing Healthtech business | up to £50,000 FTE | London I am excited to be recruiting a first ever in-house Finance Manager (3 days a week) for one of the most exciting, emerging businesses in the Healthtech space. This SME, have created a SaaS-based customer/business platform that is revolutionising the way that healthcare is provided. As part of their progression they are looking for a sole Finance Manager to come in and oversee the full finance function of the business, reporting directly into the Founder. Core duties include: Oversee the complete month end process and produce monthly reporting including budgets, cash flow and forecasts in a timely manner Implementation of finance systems and procedures with an eye on the future to ensure that all processes are 'future-proofed' and can accompany revenue/expenditure growth Monitor and improve the SaaS-based Accounts Receivable function with the capability of maintaining effectiveness for increased revenue/customer numbers Business partner with core budget holders and educate them on their budget and expenditure which will require you to translate finance in an easy, jargon-free way Take leadership of the full Accounts Payable function ensuring that payments and supplier statement reconciliations are undertaken systematically This 50 person business have been cited as one of the best SMEs to work for and pride themselves on their business culture. In order to be considered for this position, you will be ideally be a Qualified Accountant with experience in a SaaS based start up. You will feel passionate about joining a growing businesses and have the technical skillset to be able to work autonomously and act upon your own initiative completely. The Founders of the business will be relying on your expertise and need a 'safe pair of hands'. You will also need to be a personable, enthusiastic and a proactive individual with a fire in your belly to make a difference and care greatly about the development of a business that helps some of the UK's most vulnerable people stay safe.
