Overview
Are you currently working as a Senior Accountant with substantial Audit experience? Are you interested in a new role within a well-established and forward-thinking practice? A Manchester City Centre based Accountancy practice are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Accounts & Audit department. You will carry out the general duties of a Senior Accountant and Audit. With 70% of your audits taking place in-house, this is suitable if you are looking to reduce the travel element of your work. The firm: You'll be working as Senior Accountant and Auditor for an Accountancy Practice based in Manchester City Centre. They have a great collegiate atmosphere, where everyone has time for everyone. They also have a superb portfolio of clients for you to work with. Your background: You will likely have 5 years' practice experience working as an Accountant. You will need to have substantial Audit experience as well. You will be personable and self-driven. You'll be IT proficient in Word, Excel, Xero and Sage. You will be experienced in preparing and reviewing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies and will have knowledge of tax compliance issues. You'll be a team player with a passion for your profession and excellent interpersonal, planning and organisational skills. Likewise, the ability to impress and work well with clients is key. You should possess a good commercial mindset and ensure that you maximise the opportunity to sell the firm's full range of services.
