Overview
Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnered with a global business based in Coventry for the recruitment of a Management Accountant. The role is in place to provide an effective accounting service to the client's customers and suppliers in line with best practice and corporate objectives. Key Responsibilities Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions Oversee financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants Operate daily accounting tasks Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes Deliver financial policies and procedures to employees from HQ overseas Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation Key Skills and Requirements An accounts qualification (ACCA/CIMA) is desireable but not essential, would be open to a QBE candidate 3-4 years of management accounting experience would be desired Strong leadership skills Energetic High attention to detail Ability to adhere to tight deadlines Strong communication skills Strong negotiation and reconciliation skills Excellent knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel and Word is desired but not essential.
