Overview
Stand alone credit control, Leeds city centre, upto £24,000 Your new company A leading professional services business based in prestigious Leeds city centre offices are looking to recruit a stand alone credit controller on a permanent basis reporting to the Finance Director. Your new role This is a newly created role to drive the business forward focusing on the timely and efficient recovery of bad debt the key to being successful in this role will be building strong relationships by communicating over the phone and face to face with both internal and external departments. You will understand different customer needs and requirement and put new processes and procedures into place. Other duties will include: Collect outstanding debt and negotiate payment plans Reconciling accounts Providing copy invoices and statements as requested Raising credit notes and dealing with complex issues on a daily basis Monitoring and reporting on overdue debt and putting accounts on stop when needed Analysing reasons for non payment of overdue and disputed debts and escalating unresolved issues to management as required Carrying out credit risk assessments for new accounts and for limit increases What you'll need to succeed To be successful you will have previously worked in a similar stand alone role with the ability to build good working relationships. Experience within professional services would be advantageous.
