Overview

I am currently working with a fantastic not for profit organisation, who are looking to recruit an HR Manager on a permanent basis. The post holder will contribute to the design and delivery of people and OD strategies, working with teams across the organisation to support a programme of organisational performance improvement. The main accountabilities held within this role will include: Support the provision of HR and Workforce Development service provided across the whole organisation Develop a thorough understanding of all HR policies and procedures and provide advice, guidance and support to line managers and other staff. Design and deliver organisational development and change management interventions and initiatives Develop and deliver initiatives that support the further embedding of organisational values and behaviours Design and deliver OD and change management strategies, processes and interventions that support the organisations to retain its high-performing workforce Oversee the annual appraisal process, monitoring compliance with the timetable and working closely with the People Services Manager and the HR Adviser to ensure consistency of quality in appraisal processes and systems. Lead on equality and diversity initiatives for staff (including chairing the Equality and Equality Group, a sub-group of the Workforce Development Committee). Managing external partnerships and charters with organisations that will improve both the equality and diversity profile of the organisation e.g. Stonewall, Disability Confident and Mindful Employee Analyse appropriate staffing data and make recommendations locally and at team level, in relation to how issues can be overcome e.g. aging workforce. Work with colleagues to support and advise managers on the development of appropriate organisation and team structures Lead on all aspects of departmental and/or team restructures where required in conjunction with Director of People & OD, to include managing any associated redundancies, voluntary severances and settlement agreements with the HR Adviser.
