Role We're looking for a Compliance Administrator to support the Corporate Governance and Compliance team through the provision of a comprehensive and effective administrative service in relation to all compliance activities and local continuous improvement work. Responsibilities You will: Provide administration support to the Corporate Governance and Compliance team including: Business Continuity Proactively support the business continuity management continuous improvement program Coordinate internal business continuity meetings and calls Ensure business continuity related correspondence is saved appropriately to the document management system Information Management Forum (IMF) Coordinate IMF meetings Ensure all IMF related correspondence is saved appropriately to the document management system ISO Audit Programme Complete all necessary documentation (e.g. from templates) Maintain the audit schedule as required Corporate Governance and Compliance team Provide general administrative support Support new starters in the team Coordinate meetings as required: coordinate times, circulate agendas, record actions and decisions and ensure these are agreed Input into the ongoing Continual Service Improvement processes underway at our client, feeding in any observations to the SIRO Provide an administrative lead role for all aspects of our client's ISO audit program, completing all necessary documentation (from templates) and maintaining the audit schedule as required Assist in the creation of compliance documentation for assurance activities (eg from templates). Maintain documents as required and provide system updates to ensure accurate information for MI purposes are recorded Support the team during any escalation of 'case work' activities (e.g. FOI, DPA, complaints, parliamentary ombudsman cases) Data entry and records Essential and Desirable Criteria Essential: Experience in an administrative role with proven excellent organisation skills Customer-focused approach with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management Stakeholder Management Microsoft software skills. Word and excel power point. Desirable: Experience of risk control and process assurance. Experience of continuity management, issue resolution approaches and techniques Awareness of Data Protection Act / Freedom of Information general principles Person Specification Proactive and flexible Ability to priorities and use initiative Problem solving and analytical skills Good Communication skills at all levels Knowledge of governance and compliance principles and business rules As well as a starting salary of £21,200, we offer: Pension arrangements 25 days annual leave provision An excellent office location in Brighton.
