Overview

BI & Reporting Analyst - Horsforth - £40k Benefits (inc Life assurance, Income protection, free parking) Our client is looking for a BI Reporting Analyst. As a BI Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for writing reports and dashboards, and ensuring high levels of accuracy through the analysis and reporting process. You will work with business stakeholders to understand business processes, identify and capture information requirements and translate these in to functional and technical specifications. Responsibilities will include: Partner with the business teams to define and document business requirements for new metrics and reports/dashboards Design, develop and maintain (support) reports and analytical tools Responsibility for the delivery of informational analysis to the business, working with SMEs to ensure relevant data is accurately captured and processed Perform ongoing monitoring and refinement of reports Provide support for existing reports, dashboards or other tools Identify and analyse errors and inconsistencies in the data and provide timely resolutions Create ad-hoc reports and views on a frequent basis to assist management in understanding, researching and analysing issues Teach and advocate the use of business intelligence tools across the business Provide data led, actionable insight to the senior management team Analysis of all business data - digital, marketing, MI/BI, commercial, etc. Assist in the designing and delivery of analytical reports that deliver effective insight using MS Excel, SSRS, SQL, Tableau and Power BI reports / dashboards Skills required for the role include; Experience working as a Data Analyst or Reporting Analyst Excellent capability of the use of Power BI or Excel with ability to create dashboards, graphs and tables Experience of ongoing operation of data, analytics and reporting projects Ability to collect and compile management information requirements with stakeholders Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail Proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes and procedures Advanced knowledge of MS Office, SQL and MS SQL Server Previous experience in an Data Analyst focused role Please send a CV if you would like further information on this BI & Reporting Analyst role.
