Overview
Location: Bloomsbury Salary: Competitive Division: Consulting Type: Full-time, Permanent JOB PURPOSE Kantar is seeking a Global Data Manager to join our Global Data team. As a data and analytics specialist, you will lead Kantar’s efforts to track, analyse and forecast retailers across the globe. You will work with analysts in-market and off-shore to maintain and grow our database of 1600 retailers globally. You will lead efforts to incorporate new data sets, optimize our forecast process, and create new ways for our clients to access and leverage our data. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage Kantar’s database of retail forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of updates Serve as the data research methodology expert, internally and externally for retail forecasting and related analytics Manage a team of off-shore analysts responsible for data gathering, analysis and forecasting of all major global markets and the largest retailers in each Provide custom research support for client deliverables Triage and resolve inbound data inquiries PERSON SPECIFICATION Background in retail, market research, finance, economics, marketing, and/or consulting Project management skills, with the ability to perform independently and as part of a team Proven analytical or financial acumen Intellectual curiosity and willingness to challenge analytical assumptions and incorporate new data sets to existing methodology Ability to work with diverse, multi-market team in a virtual working environment Agility and communication skills JOIN US At Kantar we have an integrated way of rewarding our people based around a simple, clear and consistent set of principles.
