Overview
Reed Legal are working with a Fantastic Government organisation, that are looking to bring in a Litigation Lawyer to aid on a fixed term contract through to the end of October. The Lawyer will be an experienced and confident litigator, and will ideally have an understanding of how Government Organisations work. They are looking to pay a competitive salary of £61,074 p/a equivalent, and would be looking for the candidate to start by mid march. The organisation is based in Westminster, so is ideally located in central London. They are looking for the following experience/attributes: - Strong Litigation/Advisory experience - Experience of Judicial Reviews and Public Law is essential. - Instructing external counsel - Confident communicator, being able to work with senior leaders and Regional Directors. - Managing a paralegal in the team. They can and do offer opportunities to work remotely. They are hoping the Lawyer will be looking to hit the ground running - it would also be beneficial, although not necessary, to have a current enhanced criminal record check via DBS as this will be required to work in the role. If not, it can be procured.
