Team Manager-Referral and Assessment Team Reference: 119682 Type: Permanent Salary (£): Up to £52,482 depending on experience Job summary: This award winning local authority is looking for an organised Team Manager to lead a small referral and assessment team of 4 social workers. Due to the size of the team you will have a manageable amount of cases to supervise and therefore will have more time to provide service users the best possible experience. This ties in with the local authority's systemic practice as the focus here is on providing service users with a holistic package of care. This approach to social work also incorporates a new operating model which combines functions from the Children's, Adults, Public Health and Housing services so information is readily available to Social Workers so that they will not have to chase and collate all the information which saves a lot time and ensures less bureaucracy. Further to being able to provide a stress free environment by streamlining the service, this local authority is also able to provide external training programmes to all permanent staff.
