Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Resident Services to work for an organisation based in East London. The ideal candidate would have an extensive working knowledge of the housing environment in the public, private rented or voluntary sector. They would also have experience in managing a team of staff specialising in multi tenure property management with increased resident engagement. Key Duties: Being the service lead for Resident engagement, taking responsibility for providing regular progress reports and resident satisfaction performance statistics to senior officers. Ensuring the provision of effective resident engagement with residents of all tenures, ensuring that a resident engagement strategy is created and delivered, resulting in higher levels of resident support, understanding and satisfaction. Ensuring the provision of an effective property management service to residents of all tenures, utilising digital solutions, minimising breaches of tenancy and lease conditions and taking appropriate remedial action. Delivering a customer focused service, ensuring appropriate levels of support are provided, to vulnerable service users. Improving business efficiency to reduce the amount of effort spent on services delivered through traditional channels by process re-design to achieve digital by default. Organising and leading meetings with a range of stakeholders. Managing and planning the use of resources effectively, including financial management and delivery outcomes within budgetary limits. Identifying service issues and inefficiencies to improve service delivery and increase service user satisfaction.
