Overview

Infrastructure Systems Engineer is required to join RBI in our Sutton office to be part of our IOG team in our Sutton Office. Requirements You must an all-rounder and be able to work with minimal supervision. You must be willing to cross train in all team functional areas and must be a self-starter, looking to own key operational systems and continually advance and develop processes, procedures & documentation. You may be required to coach other members of the team in their specialist discipline. You should have strong experience with a 24 x 7 Production Environment Key Activities · Management, support and deployment of Active Directory Infrastructure · Management, support and deployment of Windows Servers 2012/16/19 · Backup Management and support · Management, support and deployment of Patching cycles · Management of monitoring platforms · Management of Cloud infrastructure and services. · Management of AV platform · Third line incident support of global Windows infrastructure · Support of internal and external web farms · Management of virtualised environments · Automation Technical Skills Required · Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 · Citrix · Infoblox DNS/DHCP Appliances · Patching technologies, specifically WSUS · Anti-virus technologies · Monitoring platforms Ideally have: · Scripting knowledge (VB, Powershell) · Use of automation technologies (Bash, Puppet, Terraform, ansible) · Commvault Backup · Strong Change control skills/process orientated · Good communication and documentation skills · Microsoft qualifications (MCP/MCSE/MCSA) · Cloud Technologies – AWS, Rackspace, Azure ·VMware vSphere, ESX, Site Recovery Manager. Primarily in day to day management, performance and capacity. Environment built out and system migration experience desirable. · Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP and networking technologies · Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills · Ability to travel EU wide if required. Personal skills required Strong inter-personal and communication skills and comfortable in a culturally diverse and geographically dispersed working environment; ability to interact positively with management. Independent problem solving skills; self-motivated. Ability to multi-task and perform in SLA pressure situations. Ability to work within a call management system to handle daily tasks.
