Overview
Infrastructure Engineer – Server & Storage - Permanent I am working with a global travel company based in Southampton. They are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer who will be specifically responsible for server and storage support. This role will provide operational support to the systems and 3 rd line support to other technologies. Key responsibilities: Work closely with service desk, 3 rd line teams, project managers and stakeholders to ensure that all outcomes are achieved Support IT infrastructure and provide operational support for organisations information data systems and storage. Provide 3 rd line support for all server and storage systems Provide support to project tasks working with project managers and solution architects Key experience needed: Proven experience within server analyst/3 rd line infrastructure role Experience of ITIL environment Experience with VMWare (5.5 and above) Good understanding of network technologies Windows Server 2008/2012, Active Directory, Group Policy Wintel DNS, DHCP, DFS, WSUS, WINS Backup/Disaster principles If you believe that you are a good skill match please don’t hesitate to apply.
